It’s that time again—drone season is in full swing! The photo on the left shows a sky-high number of drones, ready for action. It’s nature’s way of preparing for new queens and future colonies.

Happy mating season to all the buzzing bachelor's out there! Keep an eye on your hives, folks—this is when things get lively.

Photo on Right: This is the Michelle Hive, pictured on the right. She’s been our little fighter—refusing to give up, even after cycling through at least three new queens since last year. It’s been a tough journey, but this season, she’s thriving. The frames are bursting with brood, a sure sign that she's determined to survive—and flourish—against all odds.

To all beekeepers out there: some colonies take the long road, and that’s okay. Patience, care, and observation can make all the difference. Trust your instincts, stay curious, and never underestimate a hive’s will to survive. The quiet victories are often the sweetest.
